Heather Haxo Phillips is a certified Iyengar teacher working with students in Oakland and throughout the East Bay. Heather has studied directly with the Iyengars and is a graduate of the Advanced Studies Program at theIyengar Institute in San Francisco. She loves teaching and practicing restorative yoga!

Heather has additional training to help those suffering from scoliosis, injuries, menopause or problems with their menstrual cycle. Interested also in nutrition, Heather can provide expertise increating a healthy diet through raw and living foods. Her first introduction to yoga was in the womb, although her years rowing, swimming and playing rugby(and tending to subsequent injuries) propelled her towards yoga's health benefits.
